ini ada contoh teks pidato bahasa inggris yg nertema ujian nasional , bikin sendiri looh :P tp ada juga yang beberapa sumbernya aku cari dari internet . hehe . judulnya " The Impact of National Final Examination " , teks ini aku pake waktu tgl 16 april 2010, pas EDSA's english speech contest 2010, di tasikmalaya.

Assalamualaikum Wr. Wb.

First of all, lets pray to Almighty God for blessing, so we could gather here in safe and good condition. In this occasion I would like to deliver my speech about the “Impact of National Final Examination”.

National Final Examination is final test to receive graduation certificate, final test each step is different but same in all Indonesian School.

The purposes of National Final Examination are:

1. To get the achievement of national standard for the elementary and high school education quality

2. To simplify the procedure of accepting new students in a higher school

3. To reach the curiculum purpose

4. To accelerate the increase of high school and elementary school student’s education quality, etc.

But ladies and gentlemen,

Behind all that benefits, the national final examination will also gives many negative effects. And the negative effects may also gives moreinfluence than the positive effects.

First, just think that the school principles and the teacher just want to deliver the students for passing the National Final Examination. So, about how the principle and the teacher deliver the students to be a dilligent students as the main purpose of National Exam, will not be tought sistematically.

Second, one of the National Final Examination impact for the students is the existing of misunderstanding about the meaning of studying in school. The purpose of studying that should be in case for searching knowledge and intelligence has been changed into just only for passing the subjects for the National Final Examination. Beacuse of that, the subjects which is not being Exam will not be seen as an important subjects including the teachers. This condition is getting worse when the execution of National Exam is with dishonesty.

Third, the negative impact for the parents is that now there are many parents that considering the eductional sucsess of their children is when the children pass the National Final Examination. So, the parents will not caring anymore about their children behavior, is their behavior good or bad? And the parents just start caring their children’s study when the National Final Examination is near, while when its not near to the National Final Examination, the children were never being motivated to study.

Fourth, it will existing the unbelief of the Indonesian educational system. So there will be many people who stop going school and try to search for money by going work. The young generation would like to learn how to earn money more than studying at school, because if there is a person who was having a weakness in just only one school subjet, he wont be able to graduate. So, the young generation just would like to learn from the instant way.

Ladies and gentlemen,

So, what is the sollution for all the negative impacts from National Final Examinations?

Well, one of the sollution is changing back the function of Naitional Final Examination as a mapping tools for the education quality, not as a graduating decision tools. When National Final Examination is not a graduating decision tools, then the application of National Final Examination will be more honesty and fair-play, because the students will have no worries about them if not graduating. And the decision about who will graduate should be back to their own schools.

And also because of the National Final Examination’s negative impacts, the learning procces of students will just expand the cognitive aspect, while the avective and the psychomotoric aspect will be ignored. The situation of studying will be very tighten and will make the students very worried, studying in a forced condition, and will be very unhappy.

The learning situation that gives chances for the students to explore things, find something, and solving problems will happend rarely. Many kinds of great inovations about approach and learning strategy will be hard to be convey.

The government have changed the teacher’s duty for doing the evaluation of the students learning result, while they ignore about their own duty to evaluate the company managers.

From the past three years experience that the National Final Examination has been exist, there are many dishonesty that happened from many sides and many places, it should have been the attention of government to reconsidering about the progress of National Final Examination. The dishonesties in National Final Examination will clearly gives negative impacts for the students and our education quality. They expand in a situation with full of dishonesty, which could be a lesson for they to do the same action. If this is really happening, it will be such a great disaster for our educational life.
